Without volunteers across every part of our enterprise, we simply wouldn’t be able to support the families who rely on us. Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do.

Whether you have a few hours to spare occasionally or would like to become more involved, we welcome people with a wide range of skills, interests and time commitments.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved:

• SORTER - This includes sorting clothing by size, checking items are clean and safe, organising stock and preparing bundles for families.​

• ADMIN - Tasks might include logging donations, updating inventory records, helping with referral processing, responding to enquiries or assisting with simple data entry.​

• HUB - Help welcome visitors and support the running of our community hub. Volunteers might assist with welcoming families, helping people find what they need, keeping the space tidy and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere.

• WORKSHOPS - Support community workshops and events aimed at parents and families. This might include helping set up activities, assisting facilitators, preparing materials or helping with refreshments.

• COLLECTIONS - Help us collect donated items from individuals, shops and community drop-off points, or assist with delivering items to families who cannot travel.

• FUNDRAISING -  This could involve helping organise fundraising events, contacting local businesses, assisting with grant research or supporting donation drives.

• COMMUNICATIONS - Volunteers may help create social media posts, share updates about our work, photograph events, or help spread the word about donation drives and volunteer opportunities. ​

We also welcome volunteers with specific skills such as:

• graphic design

• photography

• website support

• grant writing

• safeguarding or family support experience

• workshop facilitation
