Little Nest Baby Bank supports families across Dumfries and Galloway by providing free clothing, nappies, toiletries, and equipment for babies and young children up to 5 years old.
Our service works alongside the Scottish Baby Box scheme, offering an extra layer of support for parents and carers who need a bit more help.
You can request items yourself or ask a professional such as a health visitor or social worker to refer you — it’s quick, confidential, and judgment-free.

What to expect...
We know that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re caring for a young child. Our referral process is designed to be simple, respectful, and as stress-free as possible.
1. Send Us Your Referral
Whether you’re a parent making a self-referral or a professional supporting a family, our forms are quick and confidential. Once we receive your referral, our team reviews the information to make sure we understand exactly what you need.
2. We Prepare Your Bundle With Care
Every bundle is made by hand and tailored to your child’s age and circumstances. We aim to include everything listed on your referral, depending on availability. Our volunteers take great care to ensure items are clean, safe, and packed with kindness.
3. Collection or Delivery
We’ll contact you (or the referring professional) to arrange a collection time, or delivery if that has been agreed. We do our best to work around your schedule and make receiving your bundle as easy as possible.
4. Ongoing Support Up to Age 5
Once you’ve been added to our system, you’re welcome to request further support as your child grows. From clothing and essentials to seasonal items, we’re here to help up until your child is five years old. You can submit future requests through our self-referral form or through your supporting professional.
