Emergency Requests

This option is strictly for professionals supporting a family in crisis. If you believe a child’s essential needs cannot wait for our standard referral process, please tick the Emergency Referral box on the Professional Referral Form to alert our team.

Emergency referrals are reviewed immediately and moved to the top of our list. We will always try to fulfil urgent requests within 48 hours, depending on the stock we have available at the time.

Please note that collection must be arranged by the referrer or family, as we cannot guarantee delivery within a short timeframe. We will work with you to find the quickest and most practical solution.

When is an emergency referral appropriate?

Examples include (but are not limited to):

A family fleeing domestic violence with no belongings for their child.
A newborn discharged from hospital with no safe sleeping space, clothing, or feeding essentials.
A sudden homelessness situation where baby items are lost or inaccessible.
Immediate safeguarding concerns where a child does not have adequate clothing, bedding, or hygiene supplies.
Situations where a parent or carer is suddenly unable to provide essentials due to crisis, illness, or an unexpected change in circumstances.
